I’m so happy to announce that Eileen’s Promise is available at The Spaniel’s Tale in their local authors section. It’s right near the entrance on the left hand side. You can’t miss it!

In the past few months, I’ve had a lot of people ask if there was a local bookstore here in Ottawa where my book was available. At the time, there wasn’t and I decided it was a problem I needed to fix. I wanted to make sure that the store that carried Eileen’s Promise was Ottawa owned and operated, and that the store had a wide selection of local authors to choose from.

I have to say I am really impressed with the number of local authors they carry. This and the friendliness of the staff plus the big selection of books they showcase won me over. And they actually have a spaniel named Skype! But this would be the first step in getting to have my book sold in this amazing store.

I left a copy of Eileen’s Promise for them to review and they must have liked it, because after a short while I got the news that I was going to on their list of local authors! The best day of my career as an author so far has been walking by the store on that Monday morning, peering through the window (they were still closed) and seeing the cover had I designed sitting there on the shelf, waiting to be bought.

So, check out The Spaniel’s Tale in Hintonburg, Ottawa! They have a great selection of local, Canadian and international authors. They carry puzzles, children’s books, stationary and gifts! And if they don’t carry it, just ask and they’ll try their best to find it.

And if you can’t make it to the store, you can always order Eileen’s Promise from their website. It’ll arrive a lot fast then if you order it through other online stores!
